Everything you want to know before you book.

Yes. Hotel pickup is available from San Juan, Rio Grande, Luquillo, and Fajardo on all tours that include transportation. Select your pickup location at checkout and we handle everything. You do not need a rental car to experience the best of Puerto Rico.

Never crowded. We cap every tour at a number where the guide actually knows your name. You get real attention, real pacing, and a real experience - not 40 strangers following a flag. This is exactly what 200+ five-star reviews are built on.

Rain on the east coast is typically brief and often makes the rainforest more dramatic, not less. Our guides adapt on the fly. If weather ever makes a tour unsafe, we contact you in advance to reschedule - free cancellation on all tours up to 24 hours before departure.

Absolutely. Corporate retreats, destination weddings, bachelor and bachelorette parties, family reunions - we specialize in all of them. Our Discover Series is built specifically for private groups. WhatsApp us with your headcount and dates and we will put together a custom quote same day.

Most of our guests are first-timers. Our guides set expectations clearly, move at a comfortable pace, and ensure everyone feels confident before any activity starts. The only requirement is curiosity. El Yunque Waterslides requires age 8+. Scuba requires age 10+. Everything else is open to all.

Most travelers plan 4 to 7 days. A 4-day trip lets you cover Old San Juan, El Yunque, and Bio Bay comfortably. A week opens up Culebra or Vieques for a beach day, plus a Discover Series cultural day trip into the inland mountains. Cruise passengers with one day usually do Old San Juan or El Yunque.

No. Hotel pickup is available from San Juan, Rio Grande, Luquillo, and Fajardo on all tours that include transportation. Rideshare and public transit cover Old San Juan. A rental car helps if you want to explore independently between tour days, but it is not required to see the highlights.

December through April offers the driest weather and is peak tourist season. May, June, October, and November are quieter with brief afternoon showers and better tour availability. Hurricane season runs June to November but most days remain sunny. Year-round temperatures average 75 to 85 degrees Fahrenheit.

Yes. The tourist areas of San Juan, Fajardo, El Yunque, Culebra, and Vieques are generally safe. Standard precautions apply: avoid leaving valuables in cars, use rideshare at night, and stay aware in less-trafficked areas. Our guides are local-born and know which areas are safest at which times.

US citizens do not need a passport for Puerto Rico. A driver license or REAL ID is sufficient for domestic flights. International visitors should bring their passport. Puerto Rico uses US dollars, US plug standards, and US cell carriers, so most travelers find the trip logistically simple.

Old San Juan Walking Tour (age 4+) and Fajardo Snorkeling (age 4+) are the most popular family choices. The Bio Bay Kayak (age 5+) is also family-friendly. El Yunque Waterslides requires age 8+ due to natural terrain. Our small group sizes mean guides can adjust pacing for families with young children.

Laguna Grande in Fajardo is the most accessible of the three bioluminescent bays in Puerto Rico. Mosquito Bay in Vieques is brighter but requires a ferry. La Parguera on the south coast allows swimming but has dimmer bioluminescence. Our Bio Bay Kayak tour goes to Laguna Grande from Fajardo.

Paradise Seekers tours range from $40 for the Old San Juan Walking Tour to $175 per person for private Discover Series day trips. Most adventure tours like El Yunque Waterslides ($45) and Bio Bay Kayak ($85) fall in the $45 to $109 range. Hotel pickup is typically a $50 add-on on tours that offer it.

Yes. Old San Juan is fully walkable. Tours like ours provide hotel pickup from San Juan, Rio Grande, Luquillo, and Fajardo, so you can cover El Yunque, Bio Bay, Cayo Icacos, and the south-side rainforest without driving. Rideshare and the free trolley cover most San Juan transit needs.

They are different experiences and most guests do both. El Yunque Waterslides is a daytime adventure: hiking, swimming, natural waterslides, age 8+. Bio Bay Kayak is a night experience: 2.5 hours of glowing water from your paddle. We recommend Bio Bay on a moonless night for maximum brightness. Both are commonly booked on the same trip.
